I got to take part in an illustration fair in KL for the first time in 13 years！
Thank you KLIF for having me.
What a magical 4 days. Many guests stopped by and allowed me to have good chat.
I had an amazing time.
I heard that 23,000 people came to the event in 4 days!
I am very lucky to be surrounded by very talented artists from Asian countries.
There were many participants from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China!
It was a valuable experience to feel the solidarity of everyone through illustration.
The love of illustration unites us.
Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Malay, Japanese, etc.
Different languages were spoken in pleasant tones.
I loved listening to them.
There was a wide range of guests and artists from different genres.
All the artists knew how to promote their works very well. I was always impressed.
When a Thai illustrator came to see me and told me that
she found me when she was in high school, she also told me that she had found out the word,
illustration bc of me.
She became a very talented illustrator!
That was very touching to hear.
For the first time in 13 years, I noticed that KL has more and more unique shops.

and the whole city was filled with good energy!
Now I want to go back without opening 13 years.
クアラルンプールで開催された KL Illustration Fair に
ご招待いただき13年ぶりにマレーシアに行ってきました。
イベントには４日間で23000人の来場があったそう。
とにかく熱い熱いイベントでした。
タイ、シンガポール、インドネシア、台湾、香港、中国など近隣の国々からの参加者も多くて
イラストレーションを通じてみんなの連帯を感じられたのも貴重な体験でした。
広東語、北京語、英語、マレー語、日本語などなど
いろんな言語が心地よいトーンで飛び交っていて
それはそれは不思議でたのしい空間でした。
日本とマレーシアの二拠点生活の方、
駐在の方、留学にきている方など
日本の方にもたくさんお声がけいただきました。
各国、作家さんたちのジャンルは幅広くて
みんなが自分の作品の見せ方をよくわかっている！
感心しっぱなしでした。
タイのイラストレーターさんが、高校生の時に私のことを見つけてくれて、
イラストレーターという職業があることを知り
イラストレーターになったと伝えにきてくれた時は、
続けてきてよかったなと思いました。
13年ぶりのKLはおしゃれなショップも増えていて
街全体がいいエネルギーで満ち溢れていました！
